Our chef and professor at the Chocolate Academy Barcelona has drawn inspiration from African wildlife to create a new edition of ZOOcolate, a collection of four new animals that goes a step further with more complex and spectacular figures.

A fierce lion, an elegant gorilla, a stylized zebra, and a surprising warthog are the new characters in the 2024 edition of ZOOcolate, the Easter figure collection created by Albert Daví inspired by the animal kingdom.

Since its first edition in 2022, the collection has not only grown with new animals but has also increased in complexity and spectacularity. Where the first edition leaned towards a more childlike and simplistic style, the figures in this edition boast more depth, volume, and detail, though they all continue to share a common feature: a chocolate base ring.

From the beginning, Albert's idea was to create a "mona" concept that could evolve over time, from a simpler and more straightforward style focused on ease of assembly to the more elaborate and professional style seen today, capable of captivating both children and adults.
