The organic logo gives a coherent visual identity to organic products in the European Union. This makes it easier for European consumers to identify organic products. The organic logo can only be used on products that have been certified as organic by an authorized control body of the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission).
The EU organic farming logo guarantees consumers that the farming of the product they buy tends to have a limited environmental impact as it encourages

Additionally, organic farming rules encourage a high standard of animal welfare and require farmers to meet the specific behavioral needs of animals.
